Software Update - 4th April 2025

On Friday 4th April, we updated AML HQ with a number of minor enhancements.  If you have any new features that you would like added, please contact one of our team directly or send an email to support@amlhq.com.

A summary of the key enhancements included in this release are as follows:

  1. We have added the ability to link a client file to a parent client. Linked clients will not be double counted from a billing perspective.  This means that if you have a corproate client that has two directors and both directors are clients in their own private capacity (e.g. income tax / self assessment); you will need to have 3 x AML client files to be compliant.  With this update, the 3 x client files will only count as one client from a billing perspective.
  2. We have removed the year of birth from the PEP/Sanctions check.  This modification has been made to broaden the search and to ensure that you don't miss any potential positive matches.
  3. You can now upload/update the Proof of Address document to an associated party from your account (previously this was not allowed for Advanced Identity Verification).
  4. We have improved how we display custom logo's on generated documents/certificates and on the external client facing screens
  5. When creating a new Client from an existing Associated Party, you now have the option of adding multiple Associated Parties to the new client file.

NOTE: After a software update, we recommend that you clear your browser cache so that you receive the new updates.

(1) Link a Client to a Parent Client

From the Client Details page you have always been able to create a new Client File from one of the associated parties.  This is a handy feature when a Director is also a client in a private capacity (e.g. Income Tax return).

The system will then create a new Client file and will link the ID and Proof of Address and any other Screening/verification checks that you have completed.  In addition, it will create a link to the parent Client file from which it was created.  From a billing perspective, the linked client will not be counted from a billing perspective (i.e. it be not be counted as a client in your maximum client limit as part of your AML HQ subscription).
