On Friday 14th March, we updated AML HQ with a number of enhancements. If you have any new features that you would like added, please contact one of our team directly or send an email to support@amlhq.com.
A summary of the key enhancements included in this release are as follows:
- Person Verification: This new feature allows you to conduct advanced electronic AML checks for individuals against independent external sources such as the electoral register and credit bureaus.
- Advanced screening capabilities have been added with the inclusion of adverse media, insolvency register, disqualified directors and other data sources to our PEP/Sanctions screening service.
- You can now link PEP/Sanction screening results across multiple client files.
- We have made enhancements to the Client Party Details screen and the Identity Certificate.
NOTE: We recommend that you clear your browser cache so that you receive the new updates.
Keep reading for further information on the above enhancements.
(1) Person Verification
With this new feature, you now have the ability to verify client information (Name, Address, Date of Birth) against the electoral roll, credit bureaus and the UK mortality register. The below image provides an example of the summary results returned in a person verification search.
You can further expand the data sources to provide additional details to support decision making in the client onboarding and verification process.
The Person Verification service is provided as an optional add-on to your subscription. The service costs £2.50 (0.5 Credits) for each individual. To conduct a person verification search you will need to provide the clients's name, date of birth and their residential address. The service can be initiated from within the Associated Parties table or from within the Client Details Page.
As part of this release, we have added the ability for your clients to confirm their residential address via a convenient lookup service within the identity verification process. This address lookup is not enabled by default and we recommend that you enable this within your account settings (see the below image).
(2) Advanced screening capabilities
We have extended our screening services and we now offer you the ability to screen clients across the following new datasets:
- Adverse Media / Reputational Risk Exposure dataset
- Regulatory Enforcement Lists
- Profiles of Interest dataset
- Disqualified Directors dataset
- Insolvency Register
The screening service is provided as an optional add-on to your subscription. The current PEP/Sanction screening service costs £0.50 (0.1 Credits) for each individual. If you want to include the above datasets in a screening search, it will cost an additional £0.50 (0.1 Credits). You can decided to include the advanced datasets on a per individual basis. The service can be initiated from within the Client Onboard Wizard, from the Associated Parties table or from within the Client Details Page.
(3) Linking PEP/Sanction Screening Results
We have added the ability to link PEP/Sanction screening results across multiple client files in the same way that we currently allow you to link Identity Verification sessions. When you initiate a PEP/Sanction screening request you now have option to link to an existing search result, as opposed to having to run a new search. This is an efficiency feature when you have an individual who is an officer or owner across multiple client files.
(4) Enhancements to the Client Party Details Screen
We have made a number of enhancements to the Client Party Details screen and the Identity Certificate that can be exported from AML HQ. Within the Client Party Details Screen we have made the following changes:
- Added key data (DOB and Address) to the header section
- Established clear seperation between the current and approved Client Party Information (Name, DOB) and information that may have come from other sources (ID Documents, Client, Person Verification, Companies House etc.)
- Added clear sections for Identity verification, PEP/Sanction Screening and Person Verification checks
- Improved the options controls and navigation
- Improved access to upload external identity reports
- Enhanced the Identity Certificate that can be exported as a PDF. This report will now also include PEP/Sanctions screening results and Person Verification checks if they have been completed.
